only go around once and this is the once,"
we want to add variety to our travels. Browse through
our site and consider joining Roz and Chuck on their
future adventures.
Many
trips are last minute with timing depending on favorable

Tonga's
Humpback Whales
August
26th --September 4th
| Swim
and photograph the great Humpback Whales. Fly to Fiji and on to
Vavau Tonga. The Kingdom of Tonga is like Hawaii was 50 years
(maybe more) ago.To swim with the great whales is an adventure
that is hard to describe. I have photographed whales underwater
for more than 40 years and the thought of returning to Tonga and
these amazing animals gets my blood boiling. |
We
have been to Tonga 5 times and know Vavau well and have friends
there. We will stay at the Paradise Hotel. Breakfast is included
at the hotel and the boat supplies lunch. We leave to swim with
the whales each morning. The flight from Fiji to Vavau is on
a prop plane and luggage is limited but as it is all snorkeling
with the whales that should be no problem. As it will be winter
in Tonga a 3mm suit is minimum. Water may be in the high 70s.
It looks like the dates will be about August 26 thru the September
4th.
A maximum of 10 people on this trip. Trip Cost $3,695.
Single supplement room is no extra charge.
Flight from Fiji to Vavau Tonga may make dates change a day
or so.If you want to see whales, sign up on this trip as the
regulations for swimming with the whales are getting stricter
all the time. Do it!!!!
